FNC
Plasma Ferritic Nitrocarburizing (FNC)
Plasma FNC increases surface carbon in certain non-alloyed and low-carbon steels. A methane-enhanced gas blend and an approximately 570°C process temperature improve hardenability. Common materials include 1018, 1020, 1026, and 1040.

Post-Treatment
Plasox® Treatment
A post-plasma oxidation treatment designed to improve corrosion protection without adding a conventional coating layer.

Materials & Capabilities
Final materials, alloys, part sizes, and process capabilities will be added once confirmed by JGS.
A Better Alternative
PLASOX® - Performance without conventional plating build-up
Plasma nitriding transforms the surface of the material rather than adding a coating that can flake, chip, or collect in critical areas.
Featured Application
Plasma Nitriding – Essential for Combating Gear Tooth Wear
JGS treats gears and related drive components for manufacturers that need improved tooth wear, fatigue performance, and dimensional stability.
